NEW YORK–After several years of waiting, local rock group Blue Mellon Pop will finally release their debut album entitled "Undertone" with a launch concert this Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Connolly's Klub 45 in Manhattan.

The Quartet of Beng Mercado, Jun Tinapunan, Kiko Bordeos, and Jeff Almonte have been working to complete the record since they were formed and their fans and peers have been eagerly anticipating this release.

Blue Mellon Pop is one of the most dynamic bands in the scene with their classic sound, impeccable musicianship, and outstanding songwriting.

The album launch concert will also feature a great set of local bands:  Binky Bianca, Oxymorrons, Trickbag, and Qwadra. So it is definitely a must see gig.

Connolly's Klub 45 is located at 121 West 45 Street, NYC. There's a $10 door charge and show begins at 7:30 PM.
